what is moment mobile photo contest
The annual “Moment” contest has been designed as a fun way for people to capture their most precious moments and share them with other people, and at the same time to raise funds for the 【Traveling Dream Program】，a project that supports young people’s travel in China, helps to make the world a place with less prejudice and discrimination, more patience, understanding and love. Since 2015, we have sponsored 11 people (16-21 years old) from China, Singapore, Denmark, France, Canada and UK.
In 2026, the theme of the contest is Spark the Moment. Participants are invited to point the lenses at the moments that move them most - in their travels and in everyday life. Not landmarks, but warmth, not scenery, but stories. Because every journey captured with a press of the shutter is a ritual of reconnecting with the world. This year, the Moment Contest will also join hands with Shanghai Sunrise to raise funds that create equal educational opportunities for underprivileged youth in Shanghai and surrounding areas. Record your moment, and light up their tomorrow as well.

2026 Moment charity partner
Shanghai Sunrise
Founded in 1996, a volunteer-led, non-profit organization committed to creating access to education through scholarships for underprivileged Shanghai youth. Since 1996, Shanghai Sunrise has raised over 38 million RMB for high school and university scholarships. This has enabled 3,800 students, who otherwise would not have had the financial means, to continue their education and have a chance at a brighter future.
